Behind closed doors

Every night from behind Aubree's closed bedroom door after all of the good night rituals have been done, we hear "Hey, hey kids, I have to go pee (or I'm hungry or whatever).........  Hey kiiiiiiiids."  LOL  'Hey kids', where do they get this stuff?  It makes me smile every time.  She used to call for 'parents', I liked that one too.
